We all know Neoprene rubber for our diving or surfing suits. Its insulating ability and excellent elasticity allow us to play our favourite sport in any weather condition. We appreciate its softness and wear it as a second skin. For this, over the years, we felt the desire to use this raw material for further applications.

Why the colour? Maybe because the Neoprene is coloured? We can substantially say that it isn’t. Actually, this material is a rubber-based polymer and its employment in the industry is so wide that the black colour has been prefered. The colour if provided by the fabric, that is necessary to sew and cut the most different products, such as: wetsuits, cases for pc and tablets or fashion bags.

In our company we have industrial Neoprene-based material. What is it? It is a high quality raw material, produced in a wide range of thicknesses, that differs from common Neoprene used for the wetsuits. What is the difference? Mainly, its properties of density and elasticity that are a little bit reduced.

If we have to design a new case for pc or a yoga mat, TecnoGum LayerComb is the ideal material. The Neoprene rubber foam is contained by one or two layers of fabric, that permit the stitching and other productions that are essential for the creation of new items. The capacity of lengthening is lower, so that to permit the realization of products that have the same aesthetic aspect of Neoprene, but, at the same time, a better grip and a lower cost.

It is a sheet of Neoprene rubber foam with textile laminated on the side in view. The fabric lends it a better tear resistance and can be supplied in standard colours. It can be cut and sewed to get many different items.
